I miss growing outdoor.. even if it was guerilla style. Going from monster plants to pulling about 4oz/plant was a huge change!
Good luck this season!
Thank you,
You as well!

Last year a "friend" ripped me. So I have bumped up my security measures lol

Btw I'm not a total dork I though you were the OP for a second lmfao I realize that message was for him

That sucks. I worked alone bc I was always afraid of losing all of my hard work or someone telling on me. It was hard work but well worth it after harvest.

Northeast Ohio, got another 2 weeks before final frost so i figure that will give these babies some time to get some leaves on them. I plan on lollipopping to keep them blended in with the area they’re going in.
Lolli is my fave stayle to go or mainline :) can't wait to see!

Starting indoors is smart for sure :) I start a month or so indoors then move outdoors april 25 until oct

Also, find a strain that flowers quickly so temps and humidity don't ruin all of your hard work! Hollands hope worked well for me.
Don't forget to veg on 16/8 schedule so plants don't start to flower when put out in the spring!

I have a bunch of tips honestly;

1. Don't tell anyone, not your friends because friends turn into thrives that would die for grams when you enviove them. Best to not even tell your family. Only include those you need to. (We don't count because people who grow, don't steal other grows)

2. Start now, and train like the wind.

3. I'd go with 5 gal pots or higher. Or again if you're growing in the woods I'd make sure to find a spot that you have a hard time getting to.

4. Around here oct is the latest we can harvest really withought a greenhouse. Rippers come before that, careful.

5. Mild, make sure to get a strain that can handle some rain and humid times. Mildew is a bad one around august

also SWIM sells their weed and is wondering if the cooler temps towards the end of the season will help with color of the buds

id go simple for your first grow, use time release nutes like osmocote
Meh, time release can be tricky for a bigger as it can cause deficiencies early on without being able to do anything about it.

I'd say no nutes or basic tomatoes nutes. I don't use nutes outdoors, the sun is a powerful thing.

My indoor crops leaves are purpling now bc I've brought night temps down to high 50s to low 60s. But, the calyxes remain green.

Lol am I horrible or what but purple stems don't matter to me. They never have affected my plant that I could tell. If temps get low outdoors there nothing you can do unless Ou have a greenhouse
