Picked out a pretty well hidden spot, (10x15) rented a rototiller and had at it. Got down about 6-8 inches and then added 120 lbs of garden soil, 90 lbs of mulch, 40 lbs of peat and 4 lbs of worm casings. Once it was all covered, I went through again with the tiller to mix it all up. Need to take a ph reading as there are wild evergreen shrubs mixed in with the bramble. With my seeds and garden ready, I'll start to investigate the best way to germinate and start indoors before transferring them sometime in late May.
I have to say that all the info I really need is on this site and I've been spending time catching up after almost 20 years of not growing. I'm finding much has changed over the years and I'm glad there is so much info for folks like me
Any suggestions for fall prep or am I set till spring.
