so i havent grown in a few months and i want to start up again.

i have 2 rooms. one is about a 5x5 and other is a 10x6

ill use the bigger one for flowering.

right now i have a 600w ballast and a 1000w for mh and hps bulbs but i always have a really big problem with heat so i was looking into switching to LED

what do you all think? good or bad idea?

i have both rooms cut with vent wholes exhausting out of my house, but no fresh air intake yet.

it gets up to 90+degrees in these rooms in summer time where i live with fans running..
when i added an ac it dropped to like 80.. but with fans ac lights everything running my electric bill became out of control.

looking for some advice here this is a legal grow i have a medical card. so i will have 6 plants vegging and when they move to flower i can start 6 more vegging again.

should i switch to LED completely? in both veg and flowering?

any other info needed just ask.

im looking for advice on what i can do here with my space, and what lights you all recommend , thanks

LEDs works great for both veg and flower IF you get the proper LED fixtures, however, the cost of LED is almost all up front and thus rather an expensive hit to the pocket to start with. In the long run, it should be cheaper than most other light sources...but that's over a year or two. It's really not difficult to veg with LED and thus is quite a bit cheaper to accomplish than flowering with LED. I would be looking for something like 20 watts/ft2 (maybe less if the fixture is high quality...like Cree, etc). LED does NOT work well as a point source of light like HID does. LED more closely resembles T5 in that it will only grow what is directly under the fixture and 2 - 6 inches per side more. You are better off with either multiple small panels or possibly a larger panel on a light mover..but you need coverage.

To flower a 10 x 6 room will be quite expensive. It can be done, but quite honestly most folks won't. You could start purchasing some quality LED fixtures and use them to supplement a smaller HID light in order to keep the immediate costs down but still get some cooling benefit. Some quality fixtures to look at - area51, Hans panels, Kessil. I think that the Kessils (a dominant red blue light) do best when there's some white light added to the grow...so it works quite well in conjunction with most other light sources. I'm running 4 Kessil H350 magentas on a spectral spinner (circular light mover) with two other small diy fixtures (quality Philips Luxeon ES) on the spinner with them...mostly to add supplemental spectrum for the different stages of the grow. I also have two diy LED strip lights of Cree XMLs for plenty of white light and just to add some side lighting in the room.

I have been challenged at keeping my room warm enough and had to add a heater during winter. I was almost thinking about adding one on my current grow but the weather is finally warming up..and I may still do something to raise the heat. I'm running something over 500 watts of quality LED in my grow room (about 4 x 4 x 7) and am running about 3 degrees over ambient temperature. The first grow, I had trouble getting the watering right as the plants consumed so much less than they did under hotter lights. Read the sticky above on newbs looking for LEDs....you'll find some interesting info.
