Pretty new to growin was wondering should pre soak my medium before planting my seeds or plant the germinated seed then water?

I wait until the seed has a root start of about half an inch. Then make a tiny hole in soil and put root in first. Ligtly pack the soil so it doesn't pop out when you water it. Water then cover the seed head with a little bit of soil for it to hide under until it wants to pop up by itself.

plant the seeds then just dampen the soil ...... You don't want it all wet an muddy.

don't let dry out and don't over water ...... Just damp.

always get it wet first...don't want to have to follow up w/ the KY half way in

Yea, if you have-to see the radical emerge to check on its progress, then just germinate in a water or a wet paper towel first, then transplant.
