Germination problem

My seeds cracked and started to sprout in 2 days and now are doing nothing. The sprouts are not getting any bigger after 9 days.
I've never seen this and don't understand. There should be a lot more activity than this.
The big problem is that these are my last seeds and if they fail i'm screwed.
Help!

Maybe they are more focused on growing their roots right now. I'm no expert, what medium do you have them in.

Do you have light on the roots? I think (may not be right) that if light gets to the roots it stunts growth.

They are in a peat not soil. They've been in the dark the whole time.
They are all California Orange, but i've never grown from seed before.
I musta done something wrong or Orange is just slow to grow.
I'll give more time but i don't think it'll help.

If they sprouted I think they need light now. The energy they had stored is all used up from breaking the soil now is the time to start them on their 18/6 or 24/0 light schedule which ever you choose.
