I started to germinate my seeds last night in paper towel and plate method, when i woke up this morning, the towel was dry, did i ruin the seed?
germination problem.....

idk maybe but its easier to throw the seeds in a cup of water for 24 hrs....the ones that float are good.....then keep it in very moist paper towels in a tupple wear container for 1-2 days or untill u see the root shoot out about 1-2cm............good luck man

Why do people use the paper towel method at all?
Put your seeds in some seed raising mix (soil), keep the soil moist (much easier than keeping a paper towel moist). Keep in the hot water cupboard, they'll germinate in a day or two, once they've sprouted, place them under a light such as a fluro or CFL.
Easy as that.
