Germinating next round while flowering wraps up

I've got some extra space in my tent. Currently I have 5 autos deep into flower. My lights are cranked all the way up but raised very high so I was thinking I could get a jump on my next round.

Assuming no fungus, mold, bugs, etc. are present do you see any potential issues with me germinating my next round with the existing ones in flower?

I dont really see too much of a problem cuz they won't flower till they are mature enough, but for a proper veg you should really have at least 16 hours of light. Idk. It may stress ur seedings and they may grow funny or strech. Or it may work out perfect considering that they are autos. But I don't think it would be too bad to have 12/12 for the first week. Hope i was able to help a lil.

Vegging under flower intensity tends to make a very small Plant with minimal stretch and a small yield. You should veg under low light to encourage the autos to stretch a bit.

You would do better under a fluorescent or cfl. I like to germinate mine in an area where I have 24 hr access and I can get up close and personal in case there are any problems regulating moisture, etc.

they will be fine, I do that when I start a grow from scratch, works fine. I read photos stretch more vegging under hps, but I didnt see that. I flowered the photos in another tent after 30 days or so. you would simply change lights to 12/12, you could do that as the last autos are finishing up....

Just to elaborate a bit, under flower on my existing autos I'm at an 20/4 schedule. I'm running a 300W cree CXB3590 array. I'm switching to photos though so the round that would be germinating are photos. I'd say the at the current height of my setup (pic attached) they'd be about 40" to 50" from the germinating seeds and as mentioned, on an 20/4 schedule.

Here is my setup as of a week ago.

18/4?

18 hours light, 4 dark on the existing autos.

** Correction, they are on 20/4 however leaving original text **
