Hey guys so I've been lurking around here just reading for months. I'm going to go with my first hydro grow. I have some beans coming but until then I decided to germ 2 bag seems I had just to get my bearings with the whole hydro thing. Anyway... I made a small 8 site bubble cloner and have seen people put the taproot directly into the neoprine collar and start them out right in there.
My question is... How high up should the water be in the res? Should the tap root be sitting in the water or just above it and the splashing bubbles get it wet?
Also I am only going to veg for a very short period to keep the flower night down. (have aprox 3ft from the top of the buckets to the light) and the top half of the closet is split for the veg/clone at about 1' growing room.
The goal to start is for 2 plants to be going into flower every 4 weeks. Under 400hps and a few cfls and eventually increase that to add another 2 so I can harvest every 2-3 weeks.
Should I have 2 bubble cloners 1 to clone and 1 to use for a 2 weekish veg that will have nuts in it?
Thanks very much I've read as much as possible and searched like crazy before asking any questions
