Germanate Questiom

I learned a lot by looking at this site, but still have more to learn. The grow box i built is about 90% done you can't see it in the picture but i have a 6" inlet fan, an the same for the exhaust. The thing i want to know is how to germinate in rock wool, do you put the cube in water? or just soak it in water for a day in advance then put the seed in. If you haven't already guessed this is my first time. Thanks for your help.

are you going to grow hydroponic? if not germ in a wet paper towel folded up. left in cool dark place the put it in a peet pellet after the seeds crack and show a root keep it moist till the roots start comingout all over the place then put it in the soil u are going to use like fox farm ocean forest which is the best
