Generator Q's

If i get a generator, is there an alternator or something that makes the energy last a long time. So I don't have to add more gas like every 8 hours.

No, this is a bad option. And not efficient. Generators run off pure gas, there is no alternator. There are much more efficient ways to reduce electricity naturally. I find generators helpful as a backup source, (in case power outage).
