Ok people i have been thinking about making this post or not for sometime now and i just had to get this off my chest.
This is not a scare tactic or anything like this as you can see i use this site myself and have put up a few journals myself but feel like i should say something about security.
When the best of us decide to start a journal we do it to generaly show off our babys and to get general advice while spreading the word, its normaly on the personal side and never on a large profit scale just a bit of smoke (medical or not) for yourself and maybe a selected few friends. The reasons can vary, some are fed up with sprayed or dipped weed that harms you and sometimes can cause death, some may not want to deal with drug dealers the list goes on.......... There is nothing wrong with this at all in my book!!
But here is the nut cracker, our friends in blue do watch this and 95% of all other sites like this. They mainly monitor journal threads and tend to leave the general chat alone, so there is not much reason for them to monitor a random or general user of this site or sites like it.
Ok so some who read this will get a bit para and some will think im just a prat whos bored but the truth behine the matter is i KNOW 100% ITS TRUE.
Last year i introduced 2 friends to this site and another, (mainly this site, due to my joirnals being here lol). But as they was new to growing i thought they could get some general advice and learn like we all do. ( THROUGH OTHERS MISTAKES )
Both of them decided to start Grow jornals for their projects and i have to say they were going great i really was chuffed for them. Any way in about week 7 of flowering they both got a knock on the door on the same day and at the same time. ( I KNOW..........

With out sayin to much i kind of watched the thing unfold infront of me, i wasnt at the location but decided to take a trip there and found out what was going on, lucky enough i had another friend who lived close by with a nice view of what was going on.
After a few hours of walking up and down his hallway i realised that i wouldnt know much else until my friends called me later or the next day so i decided to go down the pub and have a quick drink as it was a sunday, of all days.
On my way out of the front door who do i bump into a old school friend of mine who also served in Iraq with my Girl Friends Brother lol, OMG ............................. He was in the police force now lol. I kind of gave him a weird look as to the shock on my face as i have know this guy for nearly all my life and hadent seen him sice he got back off tour. (And trust me people this guy is no angel if you get my drift)
Anyway cut a long story short he took down my mobile number and said he would join us down the pub in a few hours. Later that afternoon he joined me and my girlfirends brother at the bar and had a chat about old times and so on......... Blah Blah Blah.
I slipped it in to what the situation was with the raid he was on and he told me it was just a small grow opperation 6 plants all flowering and then looked at me smiled and said if he could get some of the happy forset out for me he would have but .......... followed by a few laughs. lol.
We then started to talk about how and why he decided to go from army life to the police force but never really got a solid anser out of him so we turned back to the raid.
Stat paying attention now -
He said detection from the air is a mayjor asset but before they detect anything from the air they need a flight patten of most likely locations, and how they get that info is from sites like this and others, ; -
When a message is sent from a PC to a online forum it is sent from the PCs location to a exchange (there may be more transaction before message get to the exchange but trying to keep it simple) on that exchange it will have a virtual imprint of the IP number and Exchange location number. As a number of areas can function under a small amount of exchanges they are general in a 5 - 15 mile radious so a general flight patten is given by this info.
Not only did he say that but he also said that they had another 4 raids to do earlyer that day that was found through online journals, he said that what they do is if they think its just a small persoanl grow they just keep details for when they have targets to make and general try to focus on the mayjor opperations.
Now its up to you lot if you want to belive this or not. It really dosent matter if some say its lies or some try to argue the point im just tryin to get the word out and across to whoever can benifit from it.
I think if i do a journal again i will keep it offline until harvest, just put pics in a marked folder, type your journal on a word doc and when its all finished post it.
