I was just watering my garden tonight and was thinking to myself what would be a better method of watering, to pour over soil from top or to fill the catch tray and let the plants roots suck it up from the bottom. Has anyone had any luck with watering from the bottom by pouring the water into the catch tray instead of watering from the top?
