If using the Lucas Formula with RO water do the plants also need Cal Mag? Or do Micro and Bloom provide enough?

That's what Lucas is all about, no need for cal/mag sups. By doubling the bloom dosage, you are doubling the mag. Cal is supplied by micro which @ 5% is plenty.

try the useless formula, i believe it's better than the lucas formula.

Awesome. Anyone use dutch master products with the lucas or useless formula? They have some additives with intriguing science behind them but experience speaks the loudest.

And am i correct in reading that the useless formula doesnt require cal mag (except if heavy feeders need a little extra mag during bloom)? Im so confused why GH would recommend adding 5 ml / gallon of cal mag for the first two weeks if it already has high levels of these nutrients in micro and bloom.

that's according to their feeding regime. lucas and useless formula are modified formulas. also, lucas formula is for flower, it doesn't work for veg and does not do well with some strains. if you're going to use any additives with either formula, suggest you use them at half strength.
