Alrighty.

For starters, I want to clarify that all actions recorded in this grow journal are within CA state guidelines for medical marijuana. If you are authorities, I have my documentation...

Now that I'm untouchable, welcome to GDPharmer's First Annual GrowDown :hump: !!!!

I like dank weed. I think we can all agree on that. Since I've started growing, the grows have only gotten better and better. I have grown 7 times and successfully harvested 6 times. By no means a guru, but I do know a bit about growing.

For the most part, I don't have large scale operations. I'm trying to make money in other ways, I've got a career outside of growing ya know, so I try not to fuck with anything that will get me thrown in jail. Plus the startup cost is too high.

The first time I encountered weed, I was more surprised by it's aesthetic quality over smoking. I was so impressed that a plant could just grow like that (to put it simply). So, when I grow, I aim for the best results, regardless of the time investment. I spend HOURS tending plants, no joke.

I am also open to getting hired at a CA collective. I've seen a few of yall lurking on these sites, comment if you are looking for extra hands. Or growers, there are lots of Cali folks who need trimmers.

-- Small grow tent (4x2x5, minimal space this time around)
-- 400w HID, aircooled hood
-- Homemade bubbleponics system & FFOF
-- Intake and exhaust, cold air from outside with duct booster fan & hot air out with centrifugal fan. Temps stay around 82 degrees (on the high side but not terrible, a couple of the plants love it)

As for genetics, I'm not doing anything too revolutionary. Cannabis club has good selection so I got a few. Master Kush, GDP, Platinum OG, Tahoe OG. I love master kush and gdp, the last two are new, but i figured i'd try the OG's out this time around.

So, this is actually a pretty late post. Im a few weeks into it now, but that is kind of a good thing. This is the best time because I just switched to flowering. The vegging was intense, but I think my favorite part is seeing the colors change in the final stages of flowering.

I will post pics soon. Feel free to comment on any of the posts. I am looking to get some feedback, I may ask questions occasionally.

Here are some of the pics. I'm going to start from the left of the room:

-- These are the GDPs

They are doing better than before. I transplanted them to soil a few days ago.

-- Master Kush (obviously the favorite)

Wow.Hydro.

Here's a pic of one of the leaves. Is this a deficiency issue or is it pH? I've got the pH to 5.8, maybe i need to kick up the nutrients now. ~400ppm, feel like it's not bad, maybe I will just replenish the water + nutes.
