Well we all knew this was coming, did their research unlike horti's "ufo" offering: )......i wonder if their using plight(dutch) "white" combo modules=sammie?,cree,osram(2.3umol/j) driven softer?

It's definitely a good first attempt imo..... pricing will be typical gavita $$$$

What's wrong with horti's veg UFO, have you actually seen one in action?

I think all depends on the number of chips per PCB and the mA per chips...
IMO too much Watts per chips actually in the HLG lights, it's just a virtually way to reduce the cost per Watt... if Gavita is in the same mood that's sad and I don't see any interest in their lamp: in this case, go HLG!

They look a bit like double row Sammies.
