Garden hose for RO water?

Basically I want to take 2 gallons of RO water, put it in a tank, and water my plants with some sort of hose/wand. Hope that helps.

If it's only RO water I don't see why not. People use them here for weed killer solutions. The nozzles are usually adjustable and the pressure isn't that high.

Hm ok. That's what I was originally thinking, but I was hoping to replace the hose and wand with something more watering friendly.

Hi everyone. How can I put a garden hose on a 2 gallon tub of RO water?
Water input doesn't matter. But it's a great idea to pre filte
You are probably right. I was concerned with it being pressurized and having a small nozzle head it wouldn't be.
I understand your concern. Just treat the sprayer head on any sprayer like the one described above like it is a nozzle in a aero setup.

If you are organic you might have problems if you feed let it sit till next feed and do not clean it. Then it will Clif and grow bad bacteria.

If your using chemical nutes it won't be so bad. But still want to do this.

My suggestion is use it. But before every feeding wash it very well with some kind of bleach and then Ammonia after rinsing thoroughly with hottest water possible.

And for the love if God do NOT!!

I repeat do not!!!!!

Mix bleach and ammonia together for any rhyme or reason . It can and will kill you if it does not leave you as a vegetable first. And nobody wants to put mom or wifey through that.

After rinsing to thorough add your. RO water and adjust accordingly.

This will make sure you can water with ease every watering. I grow more than the usual guy because it's medicine. Not a gateway horrific white killing narcotic.....

Of your kinda lazy you will end up only washing your sprayer every so often once you hit cruise control.

Things sound good your on your way !

Nameste!

I'm doing organic soil. I only have 3 plants each in 5 gallon containers, so I'll probably just stick with watering with a jug for now. The sprayer seems like more work than it's worth.

That's what I was looking to do. Fill up a 2-3 gallon tub of RO water and connect a gatorhyde hose to a gardening wand.
You can get a 396 gph submersible pump for cheap. Use pvc to rig up some kind of a manifold that will receive your gator Hyde hose. Then you can drop the pump into any container.

Oh shit lol. I thought you had at least 30. I've thought of a wand and it's happening next week. Along with 7x7 drip tables to catch runoff. Handwatering more than 8 plants sucks. Especially in flower in anything under a 5 gallon.

Yeah I can imagine. I have 3 in flower and 3 in veg and it's bad enough lol. It's also about the quality of the watering too. I feel like when I pour in water with a jug it's not as evenly distributed throughout the soil as opposed to a wand.

Hmm. Never crossed my mind. As long as the water goes in the pot I think your fine. If you poke your finger 3 inches in the soil in different part of the top of the soIL it will force water to gather and make a new path to the bottom of the pot. I use nursery bags. So they are flexible. That way I can squeeze and mess with the roots once in a while if I feel them binding up to much.

whats wrong with a watering can.... this seems like a lot of work to hold 2 gallons of water... so you water 2 plants then have to fill it all up again? 20 gallons i would get but 2 is a waste of time.
