Are the cages to keep deer out? I pretty much coat myself with deep woods OFF or repel for mosquitos or blackflies,do you girls know of a better more gentle potion to keep the bugs out of my hair ears skins ect.?

The cages are to support the plants. They will get much bigger and wider then what you see right now.
There are mosquito net clothing you can get almost anywhere online. The only things that will be exposed is your shoes and hands.
