Looking so good GG! Going to probably miss your mark though unless they grow “a head” in two days!! Although I don’t think I’d be betting against! From the looks of those bushes though your end of season goals seem very modest...

Sick stalks for barely starting July. I see the structures the same, roughly, as your avatar. Is it the second set of full leaves that you start topping?

How often are you feeding any bottled nutes?

Yup still jealous !! :)

Yeah it was high hopes. I would have made it I think if I had not went and fimmed the junk out of them 4 days ago. But I will take more tops then just taller lol.
And thanks...I really hope they do great :)

You sir have nothing to be jealous of. ;)

I was topping every 3rd node. So every time I topped it would become 6 shoots. Now I am only fimming from here on out.
I've only given them bottled nutes once so far. But I do give silica every watering and some Cal mag every other. They have been given voodoo juice twice so far. Once more in flower. They will get top dressed with some more Espoma tomorrow.

The stalks are bigger then last grow at the same time of yr so I'm excited to see if I beat my avatar pic lol.
And thank you by the way :)

Did the stalk size increase significantly when you initially
switched to pure manure? I'm wondering how much of a role the increased drainage and aeration of the manure is playing. I'm sure my own soil isn't nearly as optimal.

Sounds like first set of real leaves then for the initial topping? 3rd node from get go?

And again, stellar job !! And tx

I did more lst from the start. I think I topped a total of 3 times when in the tent. I am trying a bit of all the methods this time.
Yes stalk size increased almost by double along with yield since I went to manure. I tried all different kinds of soil throughout my grows in the past from pre blended to make my own... but every since I switched to this.... just can't seem to beat it.

As a fellow Badger, I read through this thread as if it was a novel. Just incredible, given the crazy spring we had here. I'm in SE Wisconsin, and I am so happy we finally have this nice stretch of weather.

I will be following you closely, as I am a first time grower (4 plants), and I am really getting into it!!

Always nice to see a fellow badger! Thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you are following.

Do you pick up many ticks while working with your plants? Reason I ask is that I got a bite and lyme rash which I successfully treated. I have always been tick wary but I'm even more tick aware now.
