New ish to organic my first dressing turned hard and have to water veryyyyy slowly, does this effect nutrient distribution to the root zone? Will a hay mulching prevent this by keeping its slightly moist? Bout to top dress with Gaia bloom at weeks 3 and 6

kudos or organic growing man, you can taste the differance

It cakes up sometimes if it’s not mixed in with the soil. Usually if it happens I just break it up mix it in and cover with mulch to keep it damp. Sometimes you can get away with covering it with another little layer of soil if you don’t have mulch

I mix mine, well into the Promix BX/Medium, and havent had any problems. This is my 1st time using it. 5 months now, and other than supplying more Epsom Salts in early flowering, for some strains. its been a very easy grow. Will for sure use it again. I also supply AZOMITE.

Get a hand rack, scrape the top surface , u can also if it caps from too much to even just put lil holes from a bamboo on ur top surface will also work.
