G13 Scrog

Trying a different scrog technique I just came across. Been said that people have yielded a pound and sometimes 2 pounds from 1 plant(Well we'll see about that). My nutes are Humboldt Grow, Micro, Bloom, Advanced Nutes Sensical Grow, Rhino Skin, Sensizym, B-52 and Carboload. I'm also using Great White and Roots Bloom. When the plant gets a little bigger I'll start foliar feeding with a mix of what I have and Wet Betty. I've already topped the plant and I've removed the 2 lowest branches. I'll post pics every week on the growth. These are the end of the first week of veg.IMG_0265.jpgView attachment 1874467View attachment 1874466View attachment 1874465View attachment 1874464IMG_0268.jpgIMG_0263.jpgIMG_0270.jpgIMG_0267.jpgView attachment 1874468

Mike, whats the different scrog technique? I'm also trying a crazy scrog, hit the sig. Anyway i'm sub'd to see what u come up with. Good luck.

Something buy a guy named Dru West, he's big on the West Coast grow scene. He's in the same circles as Rosenthal and Cervantes. I bought his book Secrets of The West Cost Masters. I gotta say it makes sense to me.

Not sure about the breeder but it comes from marijuana-seeds.nl
This is the end of veg week 3

got the roots covered. that roots roots bloom is some good stuff! i've always had a few roots shoot through the top but never like that. those are strong healthy roots that just keep coming. if you can get ur hands on some do it!

West coast masters is a pretty good read. Up to this point I've copied their techniques, but with 4 plants instead of one. Will begin flowering within the week and will eventually scrog my 4x4 area with a 3 inch squared hortitrellis. So I'll have 128 holes instead of 64 holes to train colas out of. So far my plants have absolutely loved being topped and bent/tied down from there. So good luck with your setup, it's gunna be a pretty long veg but I bet itll be worth it in the end. Heres a pic of mine. peace

Looking real good there. Let me know how that goes for you since you're farther along than I am.

This is the end of week 4 veg. My roots are continuously growing through the top. They're really healthy.

Here's the end of week 5. I've only removed 5 leaves so far and that was because they were blocking sites that I need to get plenty of light. The wire I'm using to train it is 12 gauge speaker wire. It's heavy enough to hold the plant down without me having to tie it. It comes in handy when I'm working around the plant and I don't want to worry about possibly breaking leaves off. Using T5 high output fluorescent lamps for the veg and switching to HPS when it's time to flower.

End of week 6 veg. Everything is looking good so far. I'm now using Sensi Grow 2 part. Other than that nothing new.
