Agreed. I saw Frank perform in person 2 months ago. The only funny thing in his act was about "Bush-isms". I'll give him credit for the voices, but the material needs some desperate attention.
I guess I haven't been into impersonations all that much. One of my favorite comedians, though, is a guy named Wild Bill Bauer. His russian roulette sketch is funny as hell. He's the only comedian I've ever seen get up in front of a crowd for... get this... 1 and a half hours! His opening act was ill, so instead of hiring someone or shortening the show, he just did more material. Granted, you better like story tellers.
Anyway, I digress. The only way you'd get me to go see Frank Caliendo perform is to pay me.
