Ok then... since I'm new here and don't really know much about the people who prowl the corridors of RIU, I thought I'd start a thread to see what I can find out.
Now, I'm not sure about you guys, but I always find things much funnier when I'm well and truly baked. It can be the funniest thing in the world, but I usually find that whatever I was laughing about seems really lame later on when I've come down. For example, today we were looking at some recipes in a hospitality text book. This is one that tickled my funny bone...
Chinese Style Rice
Ingredients:
200g rice
Method:
Boil rice in hot water. Drain well. Serve.
Ok, yeah I know... that's pretty lame, eh? Right now, it doesn't even raise a smile, but for some reason this struck me as soooo funny at the time. I laughed so hard, I think a little bit of wee came out.
Does anyone else have this problem with discerning the funny from the lame when they're high? If so... go ahead... tell me a story.
