How do i get rid of this stuff? In this picture its only on the right side. I covered it up with aluminum foil and duct tape to try and kill the fungus but i pulled the aluminum foil off about 2 days later and it all the way around the top of the grow sponge. How do i get rid of this stuff? :leaf:

Thacker420: the mold on the top of your grow pod is a result of no label covering the top of the planting cage. You can pick most of it off with a pair of tweezers then you'll need to buy a white plastic two inch screen pot cover from your local hydroponics store for about a buck. It will do the job of shading your cage. When A/G sends you a seed loaded pod in a cage they cover it with a label that closes off most of the light and allows protection from mold.
In the future you're going to grow your own seeds in A/G's pods and cages you might want to invest in a Master Gardener's Kit. They're about $20 from A/G and they have cages, pods, labels and humidity domes enough for two crops. All you have to add is your seeds and water. It even comes with a grow log book and instructions.

Yea i didnt have any of those little covers. I just put more duct tape on it a little while ago, and i found a little lady bug crawling around her. Maybe its a good sign lol :D

Thacker420: you're lucky, lady bugs are a good omen. They eat the few parasitic insects we're likely to get on our A/G's. The only problem is keeping them around.
