I got a lots of fungus gnats is there anyone who knows how to get rid of these fucking fuckers all together? I all ready got sticky traps in their.Taking care of most of the mature gnats. But what about the ones in the soil and or the larve .

ive read on here or elsewhere to put slice of potatoe at the soil, let them bury their larvae in the tater, then throw that away in a few days.

you can put greensand, or any sand i guess? as long as its washed, on the top medium. scrape out an inch or so, and put new soil there.

use neem oil

put the traps on the soil and around hanging.

I heard the potato trick works too here is a way to kill them so they never get back.

Take some tobacco and soak it in water. Pour the water into ur plants, the nicotine paralyzes the larvae. Then get yourself some playground sand from a hardware store and pour it over ur soil that will trap the remaining adult Fungus Gnats.

I never felt it that necessary to do those things if u buy fly traps and place them by ur soil u will catch most of them.

Try something like "Bio Mist": http://www.greenearth.ca/products/product_e.php?category=97

Mix it up and soak the soil. Don't get it on the leaves or it will burn them to shit.

This took care of my gnats instantly.

i had the same problem dude. I also had some mold and fungus.

Neem Oil took care of both problems, and its organic and all natural.

Neem Oil is amazing, look it up.

It could be from not letting your soil dry out, that is one cause of them and they will eat your roots, turn the top 2 inches of soil over and let it dry out

I always tend to over water this probably one of my main problem

do you put the Neem oil directly into the soil and if so how much

Well i tried the neem oil every where but the flowers and the little fucking flys keep on surviving.I had to dry my plants all the way out, almost died!! Little fuckers are almost all dead now.
