Just because they identify the substance taken and blamed doesn't mean it is LSD. Bathtub chemists pass off all kinds of shit if it screws somebody up and they survive.
 
I know. I was just wondering why so much lately? Bummer for legitimate LSD. Oh, pigs killed all these people, thats the fucked up part.

I think ever since that dude was gnawing on someone in Miami the cops don't have any tolerance for crazy people. If it becomes industry standard to just blow away anyone having a bad day then bad things are coming.
 
Yeah now that there hasn't been a public outcry officers feel a lot more confident about employing lethal force.
I really doubt it was actually LSD in any of the cases. Probably some RC laid on blotter and sold as acid. The dose response curves between LSD and the super potent PEAs is a big problem. I haven't dropped acid in a good long while, and the last time I did it had been a good long while before that experience. I ate two blotters of good LSD from the same sheet that plenty of people I knew had tripped on singles and I had a very mild experience. The next encounter I have with Lucy I will probably take a single to make sure (or better yet have someone who does it more frequently and is better able to judge the strength sample it) and once I'm satisfied I'll probably eat a minimum of 5 to have a real experience. That would be disastrous if it was bromodragonfly or a DOx or an NBOMe. I'm a well informed cautious user though. That's not exactly common. I know back in the day I would eat half a strip or a strip as soon as I bought it, yeah there wasn't anything close to LSD in potency back then (other than very close LSD analogs) but I can't say my behavior would have been different if there was. At least not until I had a bad experience. Too much of a tryptamine will give you a crazy powerful overwhelming experience, too much of a PEA can kill you.
People need to be honest about what they're selling. I agree with charging dealers with murder if they misrepresent their product. But pigs shouldn't be licensed to kill. That's just plain old fucking bullshit.

I'm ordering some tests off http://www.bunkpolice.org/ (which appears to be down) just to check from now on. I have a few that I haven't tried and don't even want to until I see. A few years back I wouldn't have even hesitated trying. This is seriously my biggest issue with prohibition, not that I don't have a lot of issues.
 
If you're getting a Mandellin test kit you should strongly consider a triple test kit from dancesafe.org it has Marquis, Mecke, and Simon's. You can pretty much figure out exactly what you have with those four.
 
They have this new one that looks like a color wheel which will identify just about anything. I guess they go bad in heat which sucks for festivals.
 
The one bunk police sell is Mandellin reagent. The color wheel just shows the order of color change. It's really better to have a complete kit.
