the last week ive been finding caterpillers on my plants munching and ruining my crop.

really getting on my nerves cuz i dont even know where theyre comin from.

ive never seen any until recently. and im afraid to spray anything on my plants cuz im really close to harvest.

anybody have an opinions?
 
If you're that close to harvest... then no need to worry about it. Also, you don't wanna get any type of solution on the buds if its almost harvest time.
 
You could put some neem oil on it and then if you can taste/feel it when you smoke it, you could water cure the effected parts. The water cure will get rid of any bad stuff you spray on the leaves.
 
maybe try to physically pick the caterpillars off?!! Just a thought man. Then put em in a nice little pile, pour gasoline on 'em, and light it. Oooooooh a Bonfire! YAY!
 
Ive heard of somethin like this - but its wierd soundin to me though. Do u think that the caterpillars are comin from inside your buds? maybe you had one on there that you didnt know about at first, and it spewed its larvae all onto your nuggets, and they grew and boroughed their way inside your nugs. Thatd be kinda novel though, lol. kinda like openin a box of cracker jacks n findin out what prize you get - breakin up your buds to see if you get a free caterpillar with purchase :P
 
try eating one. i bet there oooooozing with thc. i remember when we used to go picking mushrooms we used to eat the shrooms, little maggots in the tops and all. those were the best mushrooms,
 
caterpillars come from moths.. They love MJ.. they ruined my last outdoor crop (well not all of it ) and i have seen many growers have problems with them. FDD recommended this caterpillar killer from safer ... But im scared to grow outdoors now too... too long of a wait for it to get ruined like that...
 
its sweet. just make a circle around your plant with it, then it cuts em to shred before they can crawl over it.

Umm... Caterpillars are stage 1 of growing for that insect.. then they cacoon and become moths or pretty butterflies n shit.

What happens is that a moth/butterfly lay EGGS on the plants. Those eggs hatch and become little small caterpillars and go eating at your buds... they grow nice inside of them. By the time you are seeing them being 1/2" to 1" they have shit all inside your bud and it ruins it.. actually kinda burns it...

I have been able to catch them when they are as small as a little white rice... Very hard to see... Didnt matter... God knows how many eggs that bitch laid... most of my tops had runs of shit in the inside along the stem where they eat on there way up the buds... I hate them!!!!!
