i think i may have a cal deficiency... or is it nute burn?
Agree or disagree?
she is 8 days old
coco and cfls
1 30watt cfl
1 40 watt cfl

I made the mistake of watering with 1/4 strength nutes every time i have watered (3 total)
she was fine this morning and tonight she is sad (drooping) and has these small spots on one leaf.
immediately flushed with plain ph'd water this afternoon
IS SHE STILL OK?
left pic is last night right pic (NOTICE SPOTS) and drooping is today

You're feeding too early is my first thought.
What kind of soil?
Usually nothing but water is needed for AT LEAST 2 weeks.

In coco fiber with about an inch of perlite at the bottom. Only water for the next week then at least. Just repotted it. Lots of roots. They made it all the way down to the perlite. Is this normal for such a young plant?

It's a good thing you have strong root structure, because you're killing those leaves. If the plant is going to recover (and it should if you switch to plain water for a while) it's going to be because of good roots.

I would call that serious nute burn. No nutes for seedlings! First two to three weeks should be just plain water. THEN you go 1/4 strength. Follow all the advice about just water and pulling the light back a bit, and hopefully it will recover quickly.

Coco has almost no nutritional value to offer a plant. This means you need to begin feeding from the start. That plant is starving too death...

It just looks like soil...haha... so here is a perfect example of advice 180 degrees different...above...what are you going to do?

Add some nutes, and try to be more gentle… Good Luck man!

I think (OP?) that the second pic in first was taken under a HPS so it looks even more yellow than it is... Right?

Ok huge thank you to all of the replies!
I am using distilled water and phing to about 5.5 as close as I can tell with the droplet ph test kit.
And yes that is 180* different advice. But I'm still appreciative of it none the less.
2 days ago I flushed with and switched to water only.
The plant is still growing (mostly up and a small amount of new leaves.) but the lower leaves are still digressing in color.
This morning I pulled lights back a bit from 3 or 4 inches to about 6 or 7 inches away.

you have a cal/mag def. because of the distilled water. Keep feeding, quit using distilled and get some cal/mag

im sure your all gunna hate me but i have to disagree. he has said the plant is 8 days old. seeds come with there own food supply. i always run my seeds in my dwc buckets untill the cotolegens have turned yellow and she is showing SLIGHT hunger signs.

the water in the buckets is not phd. and i have never had a problem.

you know what you have done, as you said you over fed.

in coco the nutes stay in the root zone. if you water again with nutes you are adding to the salts already in the coco from last feed, creating a build up over time.

i recommend watering with plain tap water, then if this is your 1st grow, feed then water then water then feed.

this should prevent your salt build up (obv to soon to have it now!)

also ph for coco is better at 5.8 to 6 otherwise at 5.5 you will see lockouts eventually.!!!

i soak my coco before use in a cal mag 5ml/gal with tap water and ph balance it. also each watering i work up to 5ml/gal cal mag , the coco locks out the cal mag and its important to supplement it in this medium
