From seed under 400w duel spectrum

Right this is the idea I have in my head and ill stick it in order. Can someone tell me if this will be ok? Still new to this you see.

Buy feminized seeds (not sure what yet)

Germinate (paper towel method best?)

Stick under a 400w grolux duel spectrum from seed at distance (my undertsanding is they can grow from seed under the sun which is billions of times more powerfull, so why not a 400w as long as the temp is ok?)

What do I feed this seed, and when do I start feeding it? (ive used Vita Link products in my first grow but that was a clone, not a seed)


I stand to be corrected on all of this but in theory would this be ok?
 
Feminized seeds just means you won't get any males. You'll get females and hermaphrodites. Not what I want.

My buddy uses the paper towel method, I prefer to germ in transfer pots with dirt. Just make sure the pointy side of the seed is down and the rounded side is up. Then you won't have to handle the plant with your fingers. Every time I used the paper towel method, I always forget to keep them wet, and they do dry out faster than dirt.

You can put them under those lights after they get rooted, so make sure if you do use the paper towel method you give them time to grow into the soil before putting them under the lights.

Keep the lights high until you feel like the plant wants more, if it's stretching high and skinny, bring the lights lower. Keep your temps 75-85 F.

If they get some nutes like the ones you're using, that'll be fine. You can grow decent stuff without a boatload of fertilizers. When I was a pizza guy, the bosses god mad if you put too much of the expensive ingredients on the pies, they would say, "tuey, tom", meaning "a little here, a little there". So you're always better off under doing the chemicals until you have your feet wet with a few sucessful grows.
