if i have my plant on 12/12 and i have a clone in a closet under neons when the light on my plant flowering goes on can i toss my clone in there for 12 hours at a time and then transfer it back under the neon when the light goes off or will it be too much stress or confusion for the clone???? thanks

you can, but it will burn if its too close .. keep it really far from the lights until you know its safe from burn ..
if leaves curl upwards, too close to light and will eventually burn, especially from a non HID to an HID, add B1 to feed if your going to do this.
if you only have a couple of plants, you should veg and flower under hps
