First of all, I would like to thank everybody for all of the advice that I've recieved up to this point. After talking with a few of you, I thought that the best option for me at this time as to transplant.
I started out by getting a 3.5 gallon bucket (the kind they use for small fruit trees in a nursery) with plenty of drainage holes in the bottom.I filled it up 1/3 of the way with soil, then I cracked open the old ceramic pot wit a hammer. The soil was VERY wet and tightly packed. I let as much of the wet stuff as possiible fall off. Then I filled the bucket the rest of the way with soil.. I didn't water it for 3 more days to try to let it dry out some more since it was so overwaterd. When I did water it I gave it about 1 1/2 cups of distilled water mixed with fox farm liquid big bloom plant food.(1 tablespoon to 1 gallon distilled water). I would greatly apreciate ANY advice on what I may be doing improperly.
