From germ to final pot

I just thought this was a tad unexpected. I planted my babies in their one and only pot they are going to be in on 9/29. The first time I watered was on 10/8, two inches down the soil was dry, but my moister probe said it was still moist, but alot deeper. The next water date was on 10/18, and same thing as last time. Here I am again at that time frame again. I am not going to water them yet, I am going to be willing to bet from what I can tell I could prolly wait another 5 days until my moister probe starts showing its dry. These are two WW's and they are beautiful, the pots they are in are 3 gallon pots. I am not worried about it because they look so good, not a brown spot anywhere and all the same color green. Since I am still a newb should I be worried about anything, with watering in this aspect? Otherwise I am going to just keep doing what I am doing. I am thinking on putting on 12/12 in another 10-15 days, but all depends on growth. I do believe with the room I have to work with, it is very limited and 3 gallon pots are maybe too big, I think I will pull it down to 2 gallon pots next time.

I'm a little confused. You have them in one pot or seperate pots. If in one pot you might lose them because their roots get all tangled. Also your watering cycle is different. I, and most growers I know water every other day or so, not 10 days apart. If I didn't water mine every other day they'd be dead. How tall are they? Pics?

Two plants, two pots.

My last grow was in much smaller pots and I also watered about every 4 days. But these dont seem to mind the long gap between watered. I am thinking that once the roots fill the pot I will start needing to water more often but as of now they seem happy. Two waterings and the plants are a month old.

I only water mine every 4 or 5 days....at max.

Ive gone 9 days between waterings....Soil moisture is the point...If the soil is moist (and roots can access it)...watering can wait.

I am thinking that the roots are searching out the water and filling the pots. I think the roots will keep going until they cant find any more water.
