Frisian Dew outdoor grow 2019

Yeah, my friend is an older guy who is single and a pot head. I told him I'd hook him up if he helped me out with a place to grow. He's a good guy but clueless when it comes to gardening. I am going to give him half what I get off the gelato and he doesn't know it yet but I'm going to give him 1 of the 4 frisian dew plants when it's time to harvest.
Good Karma to have!! Helping people, especially knowing more about how cannabis helps so many different individuals. That's why it is a great medicine.

I think this weekend I'll be moving these into larger pots... They will be inside for about 7 or 8 more weeks. Then they will get planted outside for the summer. I am excited. This is my first from seed to finish grow. I usually buy seeds and start them... Then give them to a friend to grow out, trim and take as many clones as he wants. And then I get established plants ready to put outside.

So we are almost 1 month in at day 27 from planting the seeds. I moved the 4 frisian dew into larger pots. They will stay in these pots until they go outside in May. They have great lakes water only in the bottom of the pots and I filled in the sides with roots organic green fields. I also added in some mycorrhizae when I transplanted. The green gelato will get transplanted as soon as the new quantum board fixture shows up and it will be put in a tent by itself.

Here they are all switched over to their new pots... Except the green gelato. It is now in the middle.

So far I have given these plants nothing but water. The only nutrients they are getting are from the soil they are in... I don't plan on giving them much in the line of nutrients until they are outside... Unless I start seeing a problem coming from lack of nutrients.

Ok so I am going to move my gelato to a bigger pot tomorrow. My new quantum board is taking longer than I had hoped to ship. I did a little super cropping today... Hoping next week I'll have the new lights and this thing can be trained under the scrog net... But for now here are some pics of my green gelato and my outside plants... Frisian Dew...

I also have some auto flower genetics on the way to extend my outdoor grow this year. Some super blueberry haze and Russian Fuel... These will be regular seeds and I hope to get some pollination out of them so I can have seeds for future grows.

The green gelato still looks a little stunted and in this pic it looks really bad because I just did some super cropping on it.. but I blame all of this on the 1 time it had severe lack of water... And I thought I might lose it. Once it is in a bigger pot and I get it in a tent by itself I have full confidence that it will fill in nicely and be much more impressive. I don't think this has anything to do with genetics. In fact this plant looked the fullest and bushiest of all these plants until it was left for too many days without water.. however it was in the same condition as the frisian dew... And they also held up to lack of water much better...

got an email from the company i ordered my new quantum board from about 2 weeks ago saying that it would ship in about 7-9 business days. Yesterday i emailed them and they replied and told me they were running behind on the assembled fixtures and that it should ship sometime later this week... thank goodness. The Frisian Dew are getting super bushy and I am getting a little concerned that they may out grow the tent in the next 6 weeks. I am wondering if i should top them again in a couple weeks...

Once the quantum board is here the green gelato will go in its own tent and i'll start scrogging it... that should allow a little more room for the frisian dew to grow... I am also thinking I may have to add the other light in that tent... Not sure if it is needed. Right now they are all under a Platinum P300 but i also have a P150 i could add to the tent... i am guessing it isn't needed for veg...

Day 42... Frisian Dew are looking great. They are bushy and getting taller... Even the green gelato is starting to look better. I haven't decided yet but I may have to top the frisian dew again before they go out... It will be at least 4 maybe 6 more weeks before they go outside. This was right before a watering... I don't know if you can tell but some of these girls were a little parched... A few pics today... I have to be honest. A lot of people knock on the blurple led lights... and I have a quantum board on the way. But I am more than happy with the results of the P300 I have in here.View attachment 4314120 View attachment 4314121 View attachment 4314122 View attachment 4314123
Very nice man, I have 3 frisian duck on the go at the minute they’re only around 3-4 days old but I’m super excited to see the mutated leaves, I’ve been interested in the dew aswell so will definitely pop back in to check on how they turn out, I’ll be uploading the ducks aswell so take a look if you have a chance

I have grown the frisian dew before so I order it and never even saw the frisian duck... I kinda want to try it now.
