I have 4 Frisian Dew that I have started indoors. I am planning to put them outside sometime in May. They are currently growing in n organic soil mix of FFOF, Roots Organic Green Fields, and Great Lakes Water Only with a little extra perlite. I haven't decided what I will use outdoors...

I will keep everyone posted on how they are doing... Here are a few pics of their progress so far. In a couple days I will be topping them. IMG_20190314_173201.jpg IMG_20190314_173210.jpg IMG_20190314_173613.jpg

I know I said 4 Frisian Dew... The front right plant in the black pot is a Green Gelato and it will be moving to it's own tent in a week to be finished indoors .

It's been about 8 years for me.. so it's hard to remember exactly how it was. I remember it wasn't super strong but it was a nice mild smoke.

I have it run it for years at 43 in maine.the purps are really nice to looks, but the green runts are where its at,have a cut I have run for yrs.
The green ones finished faster for me... I haven't really got to try the purple phenos... The one I had I let go too long and lost all of it. It was very dark purple. When cured it would have been almost black.

I’m in the northeast as well. If you want to try a more potent plant there is Ace seeds Kali China (Kali mist x china yunnan) finished mine end of September last year. No mold. Was ripe. Have grown it indoors as well and plants all finish 8-9 weeks but can all be taken at 8. Very fast flowering. All plants are similar with mango, incense, creamy smell going on and spicy mango flavor. It’s indica dominant but buds are a bit fluffier and the buzz is very clear, upbeat and happy. Sativa style. The kind of smoke that can throw you into fits of laughter. I’d say it’s very special considering the Kali mist coming through and the quality sativa effect for a plant that does well in northeast. It blew my indoor chemdawg and cheese out of the water

IMG_20190319_132915.jpgsorry I did a little pinching and bending on the gelato before I took the recovery photo. But you can see how nicely the Frisian Dew bounced back in 24 hours...

Day 25 the frisian dew are recovering nicely from the topping and defoliation. The green gelato is recovering but it's looking a little rough. I am growing with a friend who has never grown before. He let the gelato go without water until the entire plant looked limp and several of the leaves crumbled when you touched them. So now I don't go more than a day without checking on them myself. Yeah... I have a quantum board fixture on the way...
Right on, yea I noticed some bottom leaves looked a lil crispy. BUT the good thing about cannabis is that correcting a minor mishap earlier is always better than f-in up your plants later. But sounds like ya bird doggin your plants full time now though. Props, another good pot plant parent.:bigjoint:

Yeah, my friend is an older guy who is single and a pot head. I told him I'd hook him up if he helped me out with a place to grow. He's a good guy but clueless when it comes to gardening. I am going to give him half what I get off the gelato and he doesn't know it yet but I'm going to give him 1 of the 4 frisian dew plants when it's time to harvest.
