While "technically", you are correct.
The term "hemp" was used for varieties used to make rope.
C . Ruderalis was traditionally used for "Hemp" production.
Wikipedia is your friend.
I just used it to double check i wasn't wrong.
I suggest you do the same.
:peace:

I don't know about you. But i don't like smoking hemp.
I like smoking cannabis. The cannabis that gets us high.
Read the whole thing. Didn't find a peep about it being used for rope. Mybe you should take a look-see.

Cannabis ruderalis has a lower THC content than either C. sativa or C. indica, so it is rarely grown for recreational use and the shorter stature of C. ruderalis limits its application for hemp production.

This is from royal queen seeds also

"
A LOOK AT 24 HOUR LIGHTING
As autoflowering plants do not rely on hours of light to tell them when to flower, they can be subjected to a 24- hours of light throughout their growth cycle. In fact, many growers believe 24 hours of light is crucial when growing autoflowering plants, as it may give them the best chance to grow bigger in the vegetative stage and then eventually flower accordingly."

Just the reason i went 24/7 XD

Try both and see.
Like you said.
All you can do.

But majority of people seem to use 18/6 light schedule. Id only assume for good reason too.

Looks like its just the plants architecture then. Having steered clear of autos I am of little help. I have never understood growing them indoor to be honest. The plants look happy enough so truck on I'd say.
Next time just nod at your mate and smile inside when he has any more words of wisdom, as he obviously hasn't a scooby fukkin doo about mj.
