Fresh air for co2, A/C for heat... how to balance so I dont exhaust the air I just paid to chill....

Hello all,

New to indoor grow and can’t wrap my baked brain around my air circulation.

I have a 4 x 4.5 x 9 box in the garage. Small A/C inside that vents hot air outside. I also have access to filtered fresh air from outside. I have a charcoal filter / fan combo that can be used for air movement & smell (still in the box)

Smell hasn’t been an issue yet. Building an “Ona” anti-stink filter for inside the garage for during flower intensity,

So... what do u veteran growers do to balance
1. Fresh air for co2 input
2. Warm/Hot air exhaust for temp control.
3. A/C for temp control.

I’m not against buying equipment. But I can’t seem to figure out how to rig this

Ur using a box inside a room, so u may need special adjustments...

Generally the fresh air is expected to be 72f or less, passively brought in as the heat is exhausted.

Ur AC may be kind of like using a hand grenade on a hangnail... What kind of lighting and ambient temps have you been running?

Always give as much info as u can about your grow so the responses can be as accurate as possible.

You may be better off sealing/insulating the garage well, and installing the A/C into the garage, so the fresh air is chilled coming in to the grow area. (Making sure to exhaust the heat from the box out of the garage, dont try to AC your heat exhaust, know what i mean?
