It also allows for more than the 4 plant rec limit, allows a person to carry 150g and use in public places where rec is banned.

its one of those decisions you make....based on your own comfort level...and current place in society and stage of life...and current medical need....

I guess the only benefits I can currently think of...would be in respect to...carry amount.150 grams......and allowable qty's for growing...over the rec....limit...
and on the legal end of things....would be the protection....that the charter of rights and freedoms.... allows someone with a cannabis prescription to not place their liberty in jeopardy ..in order to advocate for their own healthcare...
which fundamentally protects all of us the moment...you end up in court...for any related reason.
your cannabis prescription is actually...a document which exempts you from prosecution ....
