Just a simple stupid question. Yesterday I bought Fox Farm Trio Hydro-Formula, but didn't read the full description from the website I bought it off from.(FoxFarm FX14050 Big Bloom, Grow Big & Tiger Bloom Liquid Fertilizer Nutrient Trio Hydro-Formula)

I ment to buy the (((Soil Formula)))

SO what is the diffrentce and also can I use the Hydro Formula in Soil? I can return the Item once it gets here, but that just delays my feeding and I need to start yesterday lol.

I'd send them back. Soil ferts are for soil, hydro ferts for hydro. Just my opinion, but I would not use the hydro formula in soil.

Since its Hydro-Formula and not the Soil-Formula then I guess Im asking how to mix in my water, an in how many tsp per gal?

send it back! I did the same thing.... if you compare both side by side you would see that the hydro is a weaker formula... you'd be spending the same $ for less product and you'd have to do the math on getting it to the strength you need.

Example:

Grow Big Soil 6-4-4
Grow Big Hydro 3-2-6

The grow big is the only one that they make for soil & hydro. The other two are the same for both !

exactly, and if you bought the trio as a 3-pack... you are paying the same price for weaker sauce.... hence the dilemma...

and that's just the obvious difference... I would guess that there may be other differences in the formula not pertaining to the np+k levels....micro nutrients and such
