Foxfarm nutes?

Question for the grow gods? LoL. I'm currently a new grower and I have 6 plants that are about 5 days old now, and are looking good. I just added Foxfarm grow big to my ph bal 6.5 water. I'm also using (FFOF) They are also under 18/6 of light. Question is? Will I harm them by feeding them the grow big, I'm using 1/2 tsp per gallon for right now, and should I feed them grow big every feeding or every other?

Fox farms lables are about double what plants need. Your plants are still pretty young and shouldn't need them yet. I burned my plants at half strength, so be carefull. Are you in soil or hydro? I would not be feedingfor another couple weeks. When you do, start slow at 1/8th then move up to 1/4, and I max out at 1/2. Don't feed with every watering, no more than once a week. FF are great, but powerful, so take it easy. I find with them, less really is more!

Oh ok, thanks I will stop using the grow big until they get about how big? LoL. Im using Soil. I water when they get dry and light. I water until it runs out the bottom as someone on here told me to do

Yup you sound perfect. With the nutes, feed once a week, each week increasing each week until you reach 1/2 stregth. You can keep it at like 1/16th right now, especially if you are using reverse osmosis or distilled water...

If your plants are not showing any signs of stress or burn, keep up with what you are doing. The day before you take them to 12/12 flush the shit out of them. Then start with FF Flower Nutes.

Just follow the schedule from fox farms, but be careful, nute burn sets in quick, especially ifyou are using the soluble addatives aswell... just be easy, and less is more!
