Fox Farms Nutes?

My plants are going on 4 weeks in veg and all is good so far..
I am currently using the Fox Farms trio nutes: Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom (flowering)
Was looking for growers who have experience with this particular lineup.
Should I make the swap to something else?
Maybe add other nutrients with these?
Let me know what results you guys got.

Thanks in advance & happy growing! :leaf:

Use half of what their schedule says. Increase only if leaves start to lessen in color. Grow Big is one of the best veg nutes around so you can't go wrong using it solo. I recently bought the Kangaroots and Microbe Brew and I will use half of the recommended schedule amount on those also. I want to see if they actually help promote root growth.

For flower Tiger Bloom is very strong so keep it low at first and increase over the weeks once they fatten up. I would say once again to use only half the schedule amount then increase if needed. I don't like the powders but I'll throw a teaspoon per gallon of molasses the last 3 weeks.

I don't like their micro (Big Bloom). Too sandy.

Do you feed at half strength for the whole week added up or half every feeding to reach the dosage the schedule says?

Your ec/ppm will depend on your setup. Peak in flower you shouldn't exceed your wattage (so 600w feed 600 ppm) until you are sure that level of nutes isn't burning them. That's conservative, but it is easier to feed more than recover from burnt plants.

I should have asked for your setup. I use a soilless mix. Starting from seed or clones I don't use food for about 7 to 10 days depending on growth or coloration of the leaves. Some plants can go almost 12 days without food even in a soilless mix. Some need food in 5 or 6. The color of the leaves will talk to you.

First feed will always be at 1/4 strength. This is your tester feed. If they look great in 2 days then do a regular watering, if losing your vibrant green, do another 1/4 feed, then a regular water and so on. If slightly burnt do a regular water. The Fox Farm chart even shows that it doesn't use nutes until the second week. All depends on the plant. Once the plant puts on 3 nodes or so, you can then feed at 1/2 strength every other watering. If the leaves are dark green you may be able to skip a feed and do 2 regular waters in a row. Then feed on the third and vice versa if the leaves look lackluster.

If you plan on growing very big plants, let's say 4 plus weeks of veg, then you will most likely work your way up to what the schedule says to use because of the plants needs. Also, if you are using R/O water, you will need a small amount of CaliMagic/CalMag or something like it. Don't use other gimics. Waste of time and money until you know every aspect of your plant.

So.....huge plants, you can use their schedule. 4 weeks or less veg, use 1/2 dose every other watering or let the leaves talk to you. Tiger Bloom is very strong. Work your way up in strength with this stuff. I don't care how big your plant is. 1/2 dose the first 2 weeks IMO.
