I have been using the liquid versions of big bloom (entire time of growing), grow big usually around the 4-6 wk mark when they start to take off, and tiger blood (final budding) stages for the very short amnt of time i have tried my luck.
I live in an area where it rains alot so I dont always want to give them mixed water nutrients.
I bought fox farm dry nutrients to add to the soild but im not sure exactly when to use them?

I have the happy frog all purpose fertilizer which i believe you use monthly and just mix it in the soil. easy enough. says 6-4-5 fertilizer.

I also bough happy frog fruit and flower. This one im not sure when to use though? It says 4-9-3. Would this be use in place of tiger bloom or before it when you usually use big bud? Im prob over thinking all this but I would rather do that then f- these beautiful things up.

Thank you

I top dress Happy Frog Fruit and Flower about 10-14 days into flowering.

About when the growing tips transition to pistols/wispy buds. Then again about 6 weeks in if the plants are looking pale or hungry.

Thank you very much! the part im paranoid about is what stage the plant is in? I didnt think these were going to pull through due to the heat but I provided Baywatch style life support and they hung in there and took off now.
when you say 10-14 days into "flowering" does that mean budding or does that mean when the plants start to take off in the beginning and spring off new shoots and fan leaves etc? I feel like each person i ask calls it something different and Im paranoid about using the wrong nutr's at the wrong time.

Thanks again

Yeah, when the buds start. After the crazy growth phase. Don't go too crazy worrying about it, I don't think a week earlier or a week later would cause too many problems.

How long have your plants been in their final containers? If they're big and they've been in the same pots for awhile it's likely they've consumed a lot of nutrients and it good to top dress earlier, to head off any deficiencies.

If you recently repotted into by pots with lots of fresh soil you can probably top dress a little later.

But again, don't get too stressed about it. The granular stuff breaks down and feeds a little slower and more gradually than liquid nutes. You won't fry your plant by using the Fruit and Flower on day 8 instead of day 17.

Thanks alot for that. Very helpful! they have been in the containers about 6 weeks now. I have been using liquid nut's from the 3-4 wk mark a cpl times a week between rain storms. They are doing great but since the rain has picked up i wanted to add some dry nutrients in because my feeding schedule has been less than id like it to be in order to avoid over watering.

I realize this is an old post, but I’m trying the fruit an flower for the first time, and my plant looks amazing. My question is, do you use anything in conjunction with it, or just the fruit and flower only. Dude at the shop told me it alone is enough, and so far so good. 1 week into flower.3B7363B8-0EA7-4279-92C7-8D1C7685E874.jpeg

Yeah, as far as fertilizer that stuff does just fine by itself. I also like to add some worm castings or compost a couple times to keep the microbes kicking.

Sorry for the late reply.

No problem, appreciate the reply. I still haven’t used anything else, and today is day 22 of 12/12. I’ve been impressed with the fruit and flower so far. I’ll top dress again in a couple weeks, and maybe I’ll buy some worm castings. Thanks.
