Fox Farm Nutes: Big Bloom or Tiger Bloom?

What is the difference between fox-farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom? There feeding schedule says to use both but that just seems like overkill. Thanks, I just started flowering and I want to get the best nutrients I can get.

Use both dude, they work together, one promotes bigger buds, the other is needed for flowering, of course if you are looking for smaller buds, simply dont use the Big Bloom.............lol

Big Bloom™ Liquid Plant Food (0.01-0.3-0.7)
Natural and Organic Blossom Builder

This odorless, liquid fertilizer is a live culture of vitamins, amino acids, natural growth hormones, enzymes, and beneficial organic microbes. Our special, micro-brewed formula incorporates earthworm castings, bat guano and other high test organic ingredients that offer a full, balanced range of nutrients. Norwegian kelp improves nutrient uptake and increases yields. Rock phosphate helps transfer energy from one part of the plant to another, which means bigger buds and more fragrant flowers.

Tiger Bloom® Liquid Plant Food (2-8-4)
Vicious Bloomer with Micronutrients

Ready to bloom? Tiger Bloom® makes it happen. This is an ultra-potent, fast-acting, high-phosphorus fertilizer with just enough nitrogen to sustain healthy, vigorous green growth during flowering. The low pH keeps it stable and ensures that the micronutrients will be available when plants need them. In addition to containing critical trace minerals, we brew our liquid fertilizer with earthworm castings and kelp meal for a biologically active formula.

The Fox Farm stuff works together.

It's actually reccomended to use those in conjunction with the grow/big/tiger trio. personally i will be using something similiar that is also 0-50-30, instead of 3 different soluables.

Actually Graf, I understand about opensesame, beastie bloomz, & cha ching, but the fact remains that northerntights question was about Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.
All he wanted to know was the difference between the two. He had no interest in knowing about Foxfarm's complete lineup.

The whole line up would actually include those 3 things...

Those are the 3 stages for the BLOOMING PERIOD, you only use the big bloom in the 2nd phase of the flowering cycle because the BEASTIE BLOOMZ HAS NO NITROGEN.

I used these in my floweringt period..

and for everyone including videoman......

thanks guys, your right I'm only interested in those pieces of the product line that I mentioned earlier... but thats only because I'm switching to hydroponics after this grow and I already got my nutrients for that grow. The whole fox farm line is a bit expensive if I'm just going to go hydro. but again thanks guys!

I know its a few days past the last post but, if I would have seen the last 2 comments b4 I would have replied earlier.....

if you are going to use just those then.............. have fun with deficiencies video and northern

GraF, what do ya mean, I've already completed a grow using Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, and it went quite well. It was posted in my journal. No deficiencies at all.
Peace

alright I'm new to hydro and after reading this thread I have some new questions, but heres my situation; I'm a week into my first grow and my plants are a few inches tall. I'm using maxigro (10-5-14) cause it seemed like the best general hydro nutrient to start out with for veg and when they bloom im switching to the bloom nutrients. My question is; when my plants bud can i use other fertilizers with maxibloom for nicer yeild (if so, which)? Or if i wanted an even switch to a different bloom nutrient for the best bud?

There was a lot of helpful information for me, no matter who was smoking early or maybe too late! The slightly off-topic introduced me to a nice, neat description of the various products and right now, that's what I needed.

Isn't it nice how the universe uses our "mistakes". :-)
