if u talking about ph.. my run off ph was ok not where i want it to be but ok. was told to add lime stuff u get from hardware store to bring my run off up.. i finish my grow with no problems but its very with every grower

fox farm happy frog soils? ....are both hot soils and should be diluted depending on what strain you are transferring from the seedling mix, all soils regulate Ph and is no hassle unlike the guys in coco or dwc

Happy frog is not hot at all. It's extremely light on nutes. Basically done bat shit, and earthworms castings.

I put beans directly in it and clones. Need to start feeding after a couple weeks. Ocean grown is ammeter much more strongly, hence why I avoid it.

If you are growing in buffered soil the pH of your runoff water means exactly nothing.

I only grow in ffof. I dont find it to be hot. I simply mix it with about 35 percent added perlite. I pop my seeds straight in and water. I also dont feed my seedlings any extra nutrients in ffof for at least a month

fox farm happy frog is one soil and definitely not hot at all.

Fox Farm Happy Frog aint hot AT ALL. They always claimed the HF buffered the PH well....I think they used to use crushed oyster shells.....I had some fall off on one grow I assume the peat broke down and there was not enough buffer.

How did I know? Runoff was 4.0 towards the end of flower, they were sativas and needed an extra month.

Bags say it has Dolomite now. I still add a cup of dolomite per bag (2 cu. ft.)....and some perlite if I have any on hand.

I too use happy frog for my beans. no soaking etc. just the bean in the frog. works very well. much better than soaking etc. good luck, and don't over complicate things. seeds have been growing in soil with no soaking since the beginning of time.
