Former Racist Reveals Why Some White People Fear African Americans

Agreed. It's a very hopeful phrase. Aspirational, even.

Can we call someone who has repudiated a past history of racist thoughts, words and/or deeds a 'recovering racist'?
Yes I think that kind of change comes in all types of experiences. I can totally see someone winning a person over with love compassion and genuine kindness and causing an epiphany. Some people can control their language and behavior and for others who can't, they transition more slowly.

The only white people this person could even speak for is other racist white people .......cause normal people in general no matter there skin color are guna have different feelings in the first place than someone who was formally racist

That was profound. You totally blew my mind.

The simple fact of the matter is that no matter what color, race, religion or country of origin, we all need one another.

Some of us are by now in dire need, homeless, hungry, unable to take care of their children and give them an opportunity to succeed. That's the cycle of poverty and desperation and it must be broken.

We can do that for one another. And we must. It makes no difference what color we are or what language we speak, we are the only ones who can help one another.

When we can help one another regardless of superficialities, That's the way forward to prosperity.

We the People. Let no one profit by dividing us.

That is the job of the community, not the government.
