Forgot to decarb CBD herb! Help!

So I'm not a noob at making butter or oil. I think I just got a little too excited about my CBD herb finally being ready for tincture making. I made glycerin tincture in my magical butter machine at 130 F for 8 hours with ringos gift. It was done late last night. It was literally not until I woke up today that I realized I never decarbed. Shame on me for messing up a project I've had in the works since may. (Insert the worlds smallest violin) Anywho, I just want to know if my tincture will still be any good or is it a total flop. Anyone please help I'm a train wreck ‍♀

I decarbed an edibles run (pre-soak) in a toaster oven yesterday and I gotta say I will be damn glad to do it in my heating mantle once that arrives, the toaster oven sucks at consistent temperatures. I ended up lowballing a little to make sure it didnt go over 275 and it probably stayed closer to 220 for most of the time. The mantle is supposed to come Tuesday I might just wait to distill it off until after I decarb in the mantle...

If you can heat a flask to 240-250 consistently I don't know why you would ever use an oven to decarb...

Heat a finished sample to 250F in the oven or in a hot oil bath and look for CO2 bubble formation.

no...160 isn't hot enough, and not for long enough.
i'm old, i use my crockpot. i load it up, turn it on high, and let it come to a boil and stay there for 4 hours. then i turn it on simmer and leave it overnight. always makes great butter/coconut oil, people leave standing orders for the next time i make it

Agreed. Best method to decarb. Decarbing as oil or glycerin solution would produce a better product than dried herb. Decarbing oil also easier to monitor. Skeptical of Decarbing herb because you are heating a herb and this result s in higher oxidation potential due to increased surface to air contact.
