forced hermie

Been looking all over but have never seen a solid answer to this question. If a feminized seed is grown and forced into hermie from light stress, and pollinates itself, are the seeds worth a fuck?

I wouldn't put energy into growing them under lights, but they would be fine for scattering about randomly outside. :-D

i dont see y not. Breeders pick the best male and best female to make seeds from, so y not just get seeds from a gud plant that went hermie? They are likely to be unstable tho, so as said b4, i would just scatter them in the Spring for a mad Guerilla grow.

If it was truly stress that caused the hermie, Then it's seeds should only be sensitive to that stress, just like the mother. It it was due to poor genetics, then it will only get worest.

I took 3 clones and was preparing my flower room. In the meantime I put the lights on 24/0 for two weeks for the clones. Two didn't survive but one did and is doing fine. Female all the way. I let the hermie go and pollinate both the clone and itself because I don't want to buy seeds. Hope I didn't screw up too much. The clone is small, about a foot and a half. Hermie is just less than 5 foot. (16 days into flower and anyone who thinks they can just pick the balls off without spilling pollen is a bad dude) Quality will be degraded, I understand that, but this is personal use only, so I can deal with some seeds. Just be careful and not stress next time around and see what I get huh?
