forced budding??

I have a nice healthy 4ft plant in a large pot and its been budding since about the beginning of sempember, Dont know why its not done yet but its not. I would say i have about 3 weeks left of budding time before its get too cold and maybe snows. What can I do to fatten up the buds, should it be brought inside at night or left outside in the colder weather??? But im obvisily going to bring it in when its frosts. Its been raining off and on here too, i can leave outside shelterd or should it be left in darkness during the rain??? I just really need to get these buds to fill it within the next 3 weeks.

Feed them molasses every week at 2 dessert spoons per 3 litres of water to fatten them.

aright so should i cut the budding nutes and just go with molasses??

Yes, i think its 1 teaspoon to a gallon. That will fatten those girls up. I would still nute till last 2 weeks, then just molasses and i dont think you need to flush the molasses, correct me if i am wrong.

i've heard you do need to flush the molasses, otherwise the taste comes through really strong when smoking.

I dont believe the taste theory one bit. I have been feeding just molasses since I am nearly done and just pinched off a nug to try. No odd taste whatsoever. If your plant has been budding since the beginning of September than next week would be 8 weeks of budding time, correct? The 8 week mark is just a guide line to follow. She could be done in 8 weeks, or 10 weeks. Some people say it can take them 12 weeks. How cold is it getting at night?

my m8y's girls took 12 weeks and that was indoors under controlled conditions when its ready its ready he told me but im new to this and am in the first week of bloom myself so i am learning as i go p.s the info is great from roll it up

Latley its been down around 5 dergrees C at night. And around 15 degrees C during the day. i can move the plant into the garage on the real cold nights but im hoping it finishes before it gets too cold and snow because this is the last big plant i got left.

I hear ya. I am in the New England area and this morning we got our first frost for the season; and its a heavy one.

O yea man, im in new england also... IM IN THE SAME POSITION YOUR IN, I,m just going to leave them outside as long as i can.... if a frost gets them so be it? I dont think anything bad could happen to the bud after its already grown except maybe being realy wet, and possibly moldy. I would definately try the molasses tho, ive heard some good things about it. If i had some I would try it, Im thinking of trying honey. But 4 days untill a frost so i dont think its worth the try.

Im not to concerned about frost because i move my plants inside at around 8pm and put them back out at 8 am. Im only really concerned about snow and we might get own first snowfall in 2 weeks which kinda sucks. Does anyone know if a plant can just be kept inside if it snows for a day or two, them put back out when it gets warmer?? Because thats what always happens where I live, it might snow, then melt a few days later and get warmer.

if your pretty sure its gonna snow then just keep them under some fluorescents until snows gone. CFL's are cheap and you say its gonna snow in about 2 weeks by then they will have already done most of the fattening up there gonna do and will probably have about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks to go after that so a few days under indoors light would be alright cause there mostly doing chemical changes by then.

Sounds good, I won't have to set up any fancy grow room or nothin will I? I can prolly just rig up a 6-CFL holder and reflector, One other question what if it keeps snowing, can i finishes flowering under the CLF's??

a fancy grow room no but as long as they can breath and have atleast a fan blowing to keep them with fresh air they will be fine but if it comes to the point of finishing them indoors then thats ok just make sure you watch the trichomes daily with a good magnifying glass and your all good. and keep the cfl's about 2 inches away or 3 and that they are 2500k spectrum.
