I'm not as up on these new strain names as alot of you guys, but this is a question for some old bastards like me. Back in the late 70's early 80's one of my favorite smoke's was what we called Santa Marta,Punta rojas,or just Columbian Red bud

My question is ,Is there anyone or any seedbanks that have tryed to keep this strain intact?(alot of you young'uns would have beeen surprised at how good that old sativa actually was)just wondering if there is someone out there that could give me any recommendations on someone who I could contact ?

Thanks everyone

I grew out Colombain Red Haze (journal in my sig) and those seeds were a freebee sent with my order. Man, it took me back to the late 70's early 80's with the smell, taste and buzz. I flowered them for over 100 days!!! Huge buds

Thanks for the link to your journal very nice thread.Very beautiful buds ,I assumed that what I was looking for is a Haze,Although I also saw some pics of what was called "Red Grape"does that sound correct? That had alot of the color characteristics that I've been looking for,Thank you for responding

Best Ive ever had 1979 COLUMBIAN RED,small tight red buds that would make you laugh for hoursThat smoke would be 750$ oz.today and I paid 110$ for 4 bags in 1979.If anyone knows where to find genes Id be interested (maybe columbian gold seedsman)

I've been eyeballing that strain for quite a while. Too much stuff I want to grow and not enough time to do em all.

Yes it was the shit back in the day,That's why I wonder if anyone has kept those genetics.I'm assuming almost all sativas have had some Indicas bred into them,I'm definitely gonna try some sativa strains (I'm patient in my old age )and I always enjoyed that old skool buzz

Mr.TM yeah in 79'it was $110 /qp when most good Mexicans were 80 and your right you could laugh for daze on it.The first time I ever smoked some I thought I was floating when I was walking

i dont think you will find it,you cant tame what was meant to be wild, unless you crossed it with aphgan.,then it aint the same.
