Isn't it funny how you guys keep preaching about how much more free and safe we would be without regulations? Your reasoning used was because we can just go buy someone elses product. What if there are no competitors?

I don't support the Koch Brothers, in fact they don't influence my life in the slightest, so I suppose indifference is the key emotional state I experience when I think of them.

But even with regulations, accidents do happen and not only in Koch Industries plants either.

Trying to say more regulation wouldve helped is a false equivalence.

i'd like to hear from RR on this forced issue..supreme court is schedule to preside over this issue in june..which they will inevitably leave up to the states.

Not at all, no one said "more" regulation. When you pull those regulations away there are no protections for workers or even those who live around the plants. That is exactly what they did was start the deregulation process for everyone. Look at west virginia they are sitting with a big as pond of toxic water that over 5 counties are drinking.

If your drinking water gets tainted you won't be sitting on the couch in complacency.
 
The only problem is that Koch industries has won a lot of awards for safety. Innovations and self imposed requirements above and beyond whatever OSHA demands.

But don't let reality get in the way of your politically motivated witch hunt.

When you have government aiding and abetting individuals that have polluted via a corporate shield what do you expect?

A free market would not have instances of crony capitalism where the victims are unable to be restituted.

Bad things can happen in any instance there is trade, even in a free trade exchange. There will always be people that are dishonest or parasitic and that won't engage in free trade on consensual and agreed to terms or that will say one thing and do another.

So the question becomes why have a system where there is ALWAYS a parasite involved and that RELIES on coercion? That is the way every system to date has operated. I could school you all night, but I've been working hard rebuilding a chicken coop and need some time to recouperate (that's a pun). Give Toto a kiss good night for me Dorothy.
