I think - I don't know much about it yet, I'm reading...just wanted to see if anyone had first hand experience.

Observers...the last category - is everyone else.
I missed the 'observers' category...that's what happens when I try to read before my first coffee! lol I found a study being done in Canada for the effectiveness of cannabis on osteoarthritis pain. I've put my name in for that, but it's sounds like I may live too far away from a major city to participate. Has anyone else looked into it?

OOOoooh, you may get more perks than me....being a lowly observer. As an observer....you only get to do just that, observe. But it sounded like the associates, etc can post, and go to symposiums, and vote as part of the consortium.

Not in a scientology, pay X and move up 4 magic spaces. You actually have to qualify with schooling and the like, so you'd be in!

I wonder if you get a decoder ring? That would be sweet...

Most recent update from the CCIC:

"Call for Special Interest Groups

One of the key strengths of the CCIC lies in the diversity of the clinical expertise and research interests of the members and supporters. Although still a relatively small and specialized Consortium, as we continue to grow the importance for clinicians and researchers with specific interests related to the endocannabinoid system and cannabinoid therapeutics to have a forum to discuss highly specific issues in depth is becoming more and more critical.

To facilitate networking between members with specific interests we are pleased to propose the formation of Special Interest Groups. Examples of Special Interest Groups could include; Policy, Education, Harm Reduction, Research Promotion.

If you would like to establish a new Special Interest Group, please develop a proposal that outlines the mission and goals of the proposed SIG, the purpose and any proposed initiatives. Send the proposal along with the names of any colleagues or fellow Consortium members to the CCIC Education Coordinator to be reviewed by the Board of Directors. They will make the decision to accept the special interest group and make recommendations on the SIG formation and function. If you have any questions about this process, contact: [email protected] "
