For Some Reason the News about Cannabis is Being Squashed

I google marijuana under news, then narrow it down to 24 hour search. A couple articles show up, but not that many about the fed crack down. Fed crack down, vermont dispensaries, ....

No offense but I would not expect much news from the major media. For awhile they liked to play up the 'bad side' of MMJ, dispensaries and such lumping them into the same categories as busting meth labs. I have not found *any* major news site to be that friendly.
Maybe someone doesn't *want* alot of attention on these topics as those who are blind and deaf are then dumb. Kinda hard to draw attention to your cause if nobody knows about it. I used to hear all kinds of news about Montanna...and lately haven't heard diddly. The Feds are coming for Colorado next.

I don't know. The thing I settled on as my assumption is that Google is a political player.
If so then it may be a paper Dragon being as big as it has gotten in these few years.
Maybe there is no real news that makes it into their distro or they have reassigned resources because of the Republican Nominations.
Whatever the reason I am not able to get even google alerts on even Mitt Romney which should have a lot of stories It's not normal.
Who knows I may have pissed off someone important this time.

Will someone go to Google Alerts and set up a Google alert for California + Cannabis + Marijuana and select all news as it happens and let me know in a day or so if they get a feed?
I do try to post news so this would be the "stick in my eye" if I have pissed someone off.
